Hummus

 Hummus

(From Mikael's friend Becky M.)

 Ingredients
3 cans garbanzo (chick peas) beans, 1 left undrained
1/2 c olive oil
3 Tb tahini
3 green onions, chopped or ½ small onion (red is yummy)
1 1/2 Tb parsley
3 cloves garlic
6 Tb fresh lemon juice
2 tsp salt
Paprika, cumin and cayenne to taste

Directions
Boil chick peas in their liquid from the can. Blend all ingredients in a blender until creamy consistency. Serve with tortilla chips, pita bread, on sandwiches. Sprinkle with a bit of paprika and some of the green onions for color.
